Home care visits may be made by registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language therapists, home health aides, and homemakers depending on the individualized plan of care, which we tailor to each patient’s specific needs.
Patients receiving home health include those who have or have had:
- A recent hospitalization
- Outpatient surgery
- A temporary or long-term disability
- A chronic illness
- The problems of aging
- Special needs
All skilled nursing care is provided 7 days a week. Nurses are also on-call 24 hours a day for those who may need assistance.
Therapy services, Home Health Aide, and Homemaker services are provided Monday through Friday 8 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.
Home Care services are usually paid for by Medicare, Medicaid (HCBS), Veterans Administration, and private insurance. There are certain medical and eligibility requirements that need to be met before most insurance companies will authorize care. Our staff will work with you and your insurance company to coordinate benefits.
We also participate with the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging to offer services through the Senior Care Act and Older Americans Act.
Private pay services is an option as well for services not covered by insurance.
Charity care is available for those who do not have the ability to pay for services.
You, your family, or your doctor can call our agency when home care services are needed. We will coordinate your care with your physician, who supervises the services you receive.
