SERVICE DESCRIPTION
  • The 28th Judicial District Community Corrections shall provide:
  • Effective community based supervision and surveillance for offenders placed by the District Court under the jurisdiction of 28th District Community Corrections.
  • Courtesy supervision of offenders from other Community Corrections act departments within the State of Kansas.
  • Assistance to the offender through referrals to other local social servicesor the development of in house programs,in order to provide the offender with the resources to establish and maintain a crime-free life style.
  • Effective and accurate information to the Courts for use in related decisions.
  • Case management services for juveniles for the Juvenile Justice Authority.
  • Pre-trial services for juveniles within the 28th Judicial District Court system.
  • Contract  services for all Juvenile Justice Authority issues such as training, research and other.
  • Provide diversion program/Stop Shoplifting for juveniles for the County Attorney office.
  • Community wide Prevention Planning grant writing, and facilitation of program evaluation
