PRESCRIPTION DRUG CARD PROGRAM

Saline County participates in a program to help consumers reduce their cost  for high priced prescription drugs.   The average savings off retail priced drug is 20%.

Cards may be used by any county resident, regardless of age, income or existing health coverage and are accepted at most county pharmacies.

Free prescription drug discount cards are available at the City County Building, 300 W. Ash, Salina Kansas in Room 217.  Residents can call toll free 1-877-321-2652 or visit www.caremark.com/naco for assistance with the program.

Using this card is easy.  Simply present it at a participating pharmacy.  There is no enrollment form, no membership fee or no restricts or limits on frequency of use.  Cardholders and their family members may use the card any time their prescriptions are not covered by insurance.

The program is sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACO).
